Enhanced Social Media Platform

Raymond James has been an industry-leader in social media offerings for our 6,400+ US-based advisors since first launching the service in 2011. In 2013 we partnered with Hearsay Social, but this past year, as a result of continuing to recruit successful, marketing-savvy advisors and in anticipation of the Alex. Brown merger in September, and following the addition of our RIA channel advisors to the platform, our program, in partnership with Hearsay Social, was significantly revamped to better support the needs of these sophisticated advisors. The combination of program enhancements, new topical content and additional Hearsay offerings led to markedly increased adoption.

A key program strength is the unparalleled support offered to advisors through ongoing training, development and guidance. Advisors have access to a multitude of materials through our intranet, as well as direct access to our in-house social media team who provide guidance on account setup, training and support (Exhibit A).

Through Hearsay, advisors can access a searchable library of pre-approved content on a variety of topics, most of which are integrated with comprehensive marketing campaigns. The tool permits customization of posts with unique caption and links to content housed on advisor websites orRJ’s Point of View website (Exhibit B).

In addition to pre-approved posts, advisors can create their own content, which immediately routes through a dedicated Compliance team for quick review, typically: just a few hours. This flexibility allows advisors to personalize content, reach their unique audiences, with utmost speed and efficiency.The smooth onboarding of some 200 Alex. Brown advisors onto our social media platform, showcases the unparalleled effectiveness and strength of the enhanced program (Exhibit C).

Advisor Mobile

In the summer of 2016, Raymond James launched Advisor Mo bile, a mobile app designed specifically for Raymond James ’ advisors to put a wealth of resources and information at their fingertips. Advisors can tap into their business to quickly and securely access key client and account information from their mobile devices, a differentiating capability not offered by other firms.

Advisor Mobile enables advisors to maintain their elevated quality of client service through the flexibility of being able to react and respond while on the go. With the app, advisors can:

View account balances and review portfolio holding information

Stay updated on firm news and recent trade activity

Easily access and update CRM notes

Utilize voice recognition functionality to dictate and document CRM notes

Learn key insights about their business

Receive notifications of client birthdays and events

The app is integrated with key technology, such as Client Reporting and CRM, and provides a centralized and direct channel to important investment management information and client-level data to help advisors best serve their clients.

For ease of use, the mobile app was designed to incorporate many of the native iOS functions for a more intuitive user experience. Most importantly, the app delivers seamless access to key data when transitioning from their desktop to mobile device without any interruption to servicing their clients. Advisors also have the ability to dictate CRM notes f rom their phone.
