The founding group envisioned an independent firm that gave each representative vision, values and voice. Today, NEXT operates under the same principles on which it was founded. NEXT is owned by its advisors and staff, the board of directors is made up of advisors, and all committees are run by advisors. NEXT believes that its strength lies in its advisors. Commitment to Excellence

One of N E X T’s company-wide initiatives includes upholding a sense of community within our firm’s culture and beyond the walls of our Home Office building. N E X T understands the importance of corporate responsibility, so we make an active effort to donate our time, energy and even blood to creating a positive environment.

The guiding force behind our corporate responsibility initiatives is our Commitment to Excellence Committee, or C T E Committee. The C T E Committee meets monthly t0 discuss ways in which we can reach out to our community, improve employee satisfaction and further improve our Representatives’ experience with NEXT.

Examples of this include our ongoing efforts to support both local and national nonprofit organizations such as Susan G. Komen, Toys for Tots, Habitat for Humanity, Southwest Regional Blood Bank and Operation Lone Star. One of our most notable efforts of 2016 included hosting a drive to gather supplies benefitting those devastated by the Louisiana Flooding. W e also encourage our Representatives to join us in our endeavors, whether that be through participating with us or developing their own ways to give back.

In fact, we recognize Representatives who go above and beyond to make an impact in their community each year at our National Educational Conference through the Integrity award. Previous winners were selected for their admirable work including serving as a volunteer E MT, supporting local education organizations, volunteering with the Boys and Girls Club and many more. The NEXT Select Platform

To help advisors streamline the transition of client assets to fee-based accounts while offering step-by-step support and marketing assistance, our firm has created a program titled NEXT Select.

To help advisors transfer assets while maintaining client relationships, we create personalized mailing campaigns and call schedules, and, we have dedicated Business Management Consultants who travel throughout the country helping Representatives streamline their own offices suing hands-on training. This empowers advisors with the knowledge and tools to establish sustainable strategies for success. W e also offer web-based training on various technologies and services, as well as materials such as our Fiduciary Support Guide, which includes a multitude of resources, like client segmentation tools, scripts, letters and more.

Through NEXT Select, advisors get the option to choose a fixed model, a flexible model or a Rep-directed model. Each model includes comparative analytics that provide wider pictures of each portfolio while comparing current versus future holdings. Our Products Department also assists Representatives in developing customized portfolio models for clients.

NEXT has also expanded our ELITE program to include a coaching element for seasoned advisors to grow their businesses. Through the help of professional business coach, Paul Karasik, NEXT has created a coaching solution that includes monthly calls, quarterly meetings and a wide variety of supporting material. The coaching program has helped increase Representative production by over 43% on average, within the first year. Social Media Consultation

In the last few years, social media has arrived at the forefront of the marketing conversation as it pertains to our industry, and it continues to dominate this space. N E X T has created a social media solution for advisors that allows them to use social media with ease, helping them navigate the process while engaging successful strategies.

Through our compliance-integrated process, advisors can sign up to use social media with just a few clicks. U sing the Smarsh platform, advisors can publish on their pages without running every post through Compliance, allowing them to use social media for its intended purpose. O nce the accounts are activated, advisors can either take the reins independently or contact our marketing team for direction.

Several N E X T-published white papers on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, as well as a content calendar are available for our advisors to download that help guide newcomers through the digital landscape.

Our marketing department also consists of dedicated specialists who provide complimentary consultations to all N E X T advisors on social media marketing.O ur advisors are encouraged to reach out to the marketing department for brainstorm sessions and social media tips at any time. Through this open stream of communication, N E X T representatives have a leg up when it comes to social strategy.

Transitions and Prestige Acquisitions

While change is never easy, N E X T is committed to providing its transitioning Representatives with ample resources to make onboarding with our broker-dealer as efficient as possible. With nearly 75 collective years of experience, the team members that make up our multifaceted Business Development Department aim to provide each Representative with proper planning an d hands-on support that is unique to their individual needs.

The Business Development Department ’ s transitions team acts as a support system for a smooth, successful transition. They help advisors with various tasks such as account paperwork, client notifications and licensing, ensuring that each onboarding advisor is continually provided personalized assistance.

Business Development provides recently transitioned Representatives access to a strategic marketing plan to better promote their businesses. Each plan is tailor- made for N E X T Representatives and is developed based on systematic research. Advisors can utilize these plans, as well as service s of the internal Marketing Department, to accomplish marketing goals.

The team is also committed to helping advisors grow their businesses with the assistance of our in-house value proposition entity, Prestige Acquisitions. Acquisition specialists assist transitioning Representatives with the due diligence, compatibility, negotiations and financing needed to acquire a practice once affiliated.

The annual N E X T University event is held to help our new advisors and their support staffs that may be unfamiliar with our processes.
