Envestnet | Tamarac Launches Client Portal 2.0 – A single place for investors to view a complete picture of their wealth and interact with their advisor support team

The recently launched client portal 2.0 in Advisor ViewTM, the portfolio management and performance reporting arm of the Advisor® Xi platform, is the digital hub of communication between advisors and
clients, providing a 360-degree view of a client’s financial picture. It’s integrated with top custodians (Schwab, TD Ameritrade, Pershing and Fidelity).

It offers advanced security, including dual-factor authentication and a secure vault for storing and exchanging documents. Clients can access the portal through single sign-on from their advisor’s firm website, or through the Advisor View iPad app. The portal provides access to portfolio and performance reports.

Envestnet | Tamarac launched a redesigned portal in July 2016 to help RIAs create customizable client-portal experiences to engage clients and appeal to the next generation of investors. As of 2016, 660 independent RIA firms use the portal in Advisor View to engage clients and more efficiently manage $490+ billion in assets.

Expanded integration with Financial Planning providers – Two-way integration with MoneyGuidePro that brings goals-based reporting into Tamarac ’ s Client Portal. Integration sends account information, holdings, and transactions data into eMoney reports.

Redesigned Client Portal – Completely redesigned and enhanced and integrated client portal, which includes a customizable tile based dashboard, interactive reports, service team page, custom multimedia content and client communications.

Updated reporting – Dynamic reporting was added to interactive charts. “ Partial Ownership ” report solves for managing accounts, i.e. trusts and investment partnership s. Advisors can create customized “ demonstration accounts ” for prospecting. Net Worth report includes assets and liabilities data from Yodlee, allowing clients to view their complete financial picture.

Enhanced security – Dual factor authentication, including SMS text options.

Usability and workflow enhancements – Managing assets is now simpler and more intuitive, with a powerful new data upload, more robust filtering of historical data, and the ability to apply actions to multiple records at once.

Account aggregation – The recent Yodlee-Advisor View integration allows ad visors to aggregate and analyze data using direct feeds to more than 15,500 sources, including financial institutions, billers and reward networks for a holistic picture of clients ’ financial wellness.

Data management and retention – Users can retain estimated values after they have be en updated to actual values for historical auditing and reporting.

Advisor Rebalancing® is the industry’s premium rebalancing application, offering model portfolio management, monitoring, rebalancing, trading, real-time pricing and post-trade reconciliation.

Advisors can automate model portfolio management, monitor accounts for trading triggers, make tactical trades, execute trades directly with a broker, and reconcile trades from the previous day.

As of 2016,726 RIA firms, managing $390+ billion in assets, use Advisor Rebalancing to trade, rebalance and monitor client accounts.

Recent enhancements:

Updated dashboard and charts – The dashboard provides a holistic view of rebalancing needs across accounts and presents daily rebalancing activity. Advisors can use custom filters to pinpoint accounts that require action. Charts are interactive and can be synced across the Advisor Xi suite.

Enhanced custodial integrations – Advisors can submit trades directly toTD Ameritrade Institutional, Schwab Institutional and Fidelity’s custodial platforms for straight-through processing. Advisor Rebalancing also integrates with Pershing NetX360.

Enhanced permissions – RIAs can grant users access to specific areas of the application – allowing for comprehensive institutional user management.

Round-trip restrictions – Assign “round-trip” restrictions by custodian to securities that are restricted from being purchased in proximity to a recent sell of the same security.

Rebalancing and allocation model enhancements – New default buy-order options enable advisors to create more customized rebalances. Sub-models in allocation models can now include 0 percent targets.

Expanded options to customize directed trades – Advisors can configure restrictions for each directed trade to honor wash sales, short-term gains and redemption fees, and allow trades that fall below the minimum investment settings.

Negative-value positions – Advisors can support short positions, options and other holdings with negative values to gain a more accurate picture of client holdings.
