Available as separate accounts through Wells Fargo Private Bank, the Social Impact Investing (SII) strategies provide clients with investments that blend traditional Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) practices with the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors. We offer a wide range of strategies across the Social Impact spectrum, from Islamic investing to strategies focused on animal welfare.

Wells Fargo Private Bank SII equity and fixed income strategies are managed by a dedicated in-house team with expertise in responsible investment analysis. The SII offering addresses the three historically common flaws of SRI products: unmanaged risk, high expense and a potential misfit with clients’ specific needs.

  • SII strategies are risk-managed to an institutional standard; tracking error is maintained between 2-3%, in line with most active managers. As a result, the strategies fit well in the larger Wells Fargo asset allocation framework.
  • As an exclusive offering, Wells Fargo Wealth Management clients pay the standard asset management fee and are not additionally charged when making use of the SII offering on the trust platform.
